Thank you for choosing The Hairpin Leg Company. This document outlines our shipping policies and procedures for our B2B operations to ensure a smooth delivery experience.

Domestic Shipping

Processing Times

  • Orders placed before 2:00 PM are packed and shipped the same day.
  • No collections or deliveries on weekends unless specifically upgraded at checkout.
  • Weekend delivery guidelines:
    • Orders before 2:00 PM Friday: Delivery same weekend.
    • Orders after 2:00 PM Friday: Delivery following weekend.

Order Tracking

A shipment confirmation email with tracking number(s) will be sent once your order ships. Tracking information becomes active within 12 hours.

International Shipping

Customs & Duties

  • EU Orders: All taxes prepaid – no additional fees on delivery.
  • Non-EU Orders: Customer responsible for all customs fees, tariffs, and taxes applied after purchase.

Drop Shipping

  • We will happily drop ship to customers at the same standard rates.
  • The final customer's phone number may be provided with the shipping address for them to receive shipping updates; however, all email correspondence will be sent to the account owner. It is the account owner's responsibility to relay any important information to the recipient.
  • Failed deliveries or RTC (return to consignee) due to the recipient not being home, address issues, or failure to collect will be subject to either a redelivery charge at cost or a 20% restocking fee.

Bulk Shipping (Pallets)

  • Bulk shipping will be conducted via the pallet network or our own drivers.
  • Unless otherwise stated, pallet shipping has a 12 noon cut off and is shipped by default on a next day delivery service.
  • A booking service can be requested prior to ordering.
  • Failed pallet deliveries are chargeable at the original pallet rate, which is usually between £30 - £60 per pallet.

Failed Deliveries

  • Failed deliveries via the courier network will be attempted 1-3 times before either being returned to the consignee or dropped at a local collection point.
  • Redelivery attempts for items that are returned to us will be charged at the courier cost.
  • We will not charge for any failed delivery fees or shipping back to us.

Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged:

  1. Take photos of the damage and packaging.
  2. Email documentation to hello@thehairpinlegcompany.co.uk.
  3. We will arrange a replacement.
