Guarantee

All products from The Hairpin Leg Co. come with a 2-year commercial guarantee covering manufacturing defects when used as intended.

What’s Covered:

• Manufacturing defects under normal use.

Examples:

• Items damaged in transit.
• Manufacturing defects such as rusting under paint (without any scratches present).
• Structural defects that occur in normal use and weight loading, such as broken welds, bent or cracked steel.

What’s Not Covered:

• Products used outdoors (unless explicitly stated as suitable).
• Damage from misuse, improper handling, or incorrect installation.
• Wear or degradation of painted mild steel products used in coastal or high-humidity areas. (We recommend alternative materials or finishes for these environments.)
• General wear and tear or cosmetic damage not caused by manufacturing defects.

Examples:

• Any kind of rusting of uncoated raw steel (expected to rust over time).
• Oxidation or patina across other raw materials such as zinc & brass.
• Rusting under/through paint caused by scratches, general paint wear and tear, or coastal use (< 5 miles of coast)
